Silvertone’s response to COVID-19

We are still open and continue functioning at full capacity

With the current state of affairs in South Africa and the world many people, we reason, have asked whether we are still open. Although we do business on an international scale we are still based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Over the past few days the situation in South Africa has escalated tremendously with regards to the Coronavirus and even lead to President Cyril Ramaphosa declaring on 15 March that South Africa is in a State of Emergency. With schools currently on shutdown and many businesses and universities following their example we have been asked what our response here at Silvertone is to this global threat.

We would like to confirm that we are still open for the time being but are constantly evaluating the situation and if something should happen with regards to our ability to function we will inform you immediately. Our premises in Johannesburg are still open and we welcome any and all walk-ins. Our team is adapting to the situation with the use of face masks as well as gloves and we want to assure you that all artwork handled here at Silvertone are still handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

We also want to remind everyone that we can conduct business completely digitally. This means you can make use of our services from the comfort of your home without exposing yourself to any possible risk of picking up the virus. You can easily send us your files digitally, whether through email, our website, WeTransfer, you name it. We then communicate electronically and deliver the service in-house here at Silvertone. After completion we will then return the digital files to you and we can courier the final product to you anywhere in the world.

Don’t hesitate to contact us and if you are brave enough to come visit us, as always you will be treated to a coffee on the house and a warm handshake.

(Just kidding – no handshakes here at Silvertone, only friendly waves)

Sincerely

Andreas Kahlau
